CHAPTER 3 : DEGREE LIFE PART 2 - OVERVIEW SEM 1
Assalamualaikum & hi,
I just finished my 1st year dental school about a week ago, so yah I'm gonna share my sem 1 's moments :)
During our first week, we learnt on how to brush effectively and I presented ways to use interdental brush. During the practical session, all of us had soooo much fun together. Except when i saw tons of plaque on my teeth and braces :((
We also learnt on how to carve teeth by using wax and have to complete the task within 8 weeks for 8 teeth in subject Oral Biology.
Then we had our first mid sem exam and things happened :')
I failed one of my core subjects and being called to the vice dean 's room. And after that I fell off from the van and it was raining that evening. The book that I hugged was safe, thank God :) my dinner was thrown aside and I lay down beside the van. Rain drops that dropped felt like soft bullets on my face. Things happened in slow motion and it was so dramatic tho i swear haha.
So the senior who stepped on my jubah texted me and apologised to me. She also gave me a bag of chocolates & sweets. Dun worry, we are in good terms.
My best friend rewarded me with my fav white Kinder Bueno for getting an A for a core subject. Rasa macam ya ALLAH akhirnya ada jugak aku dapat A.The struggle is real :')
Learned archery but i'm not good as others, siap kena marah ngan coach depan semua orang lagi :(
But part paling best was dapat main archery ngan kawan-kawan waktu hujan lebat, paling ok pun dapat yg warna merah je tu pun dah syukur dah.
Went hiking with housemates and being chased by boars for the first time in forever :)
Joined Program Gelandangan Setanggi Mahabbah organised by Tinta Qalbu to feed homeless around KL with housemates.
Organised a program with Quoradent for the beautiful kids <3
Besides, I went a trip to Rubinga Heritage with lovely Wawa . She deserves all the love in this world.
We joined walkathon 3.5 km to support oral cancer and it was fun and relieved my stress away haha.
Every year, dental conference named Colloqium will be held and alhamdulillah we had done our first theatre successfully titled 'Magika' & I'm so proud and happy bcs 'm the one who proposed the title since i'm obsessed with the muiscal film. I'm playing the voice of Malika which is the main character lol. Seniors and the doctors and even the judgers loveeeed it so much & we were so happy back then.

Seniors are so lovely & kind, seniors 4th yr gave us socks ad bookmarks from Korea. Ouh I LOVE KOREA. Setiap batch waktu y4 akan buat Lawatan Antarabangsa untuk visit dental school.
Done carved all my 8 teeth before the study week started. Dr. wanted to complain my work but I thought that I did better than my friend :( but Dr. didn't continue to complain instead she wanted us to focus for our upcoming first final sem. Ok tak tipu tapi waktu ni memang sedih lol.
I haven't sleep well during the exam weeks, but study week is dabest.com cause the temperature in Malaysia dropped until 21C at my area in the morning. I freakin lahv cold weather :)
During our Physio OSPE exam we were scolded by Dr. because we were late for the quarantine session. If not, we will be barred from the taking the exam. We had to write a letter of our excuses and if we didnt manage to put it on her table by 10 p.m, half of our marks will be deducted :(
What a dramatic ( read : sad ) life....
Holiday update b4 entering sem 2 : lots of teeth ( premolars ) collected from Zahida Dental, alhamdulillah :)
